The Monthly Invisible Contract Workshop
You do not break an Invisible Contract simply by understanding it. You break it by practising a different response when the contract becomes active.
You may already know why you over-explain, why you surrender your opinion when someone disagrees, or why you struggle to say no, ask for more money, or make a decision other people won't approve of. Recognition does not automatically change behaviour.
This is a live, 90-minute practice session where women learn to identify an active Invisible Contract, understand the punishment they are anticipating, and practise a more self-authoritative response.
90-minute live online workshop | $77 per workshop | One workshop every month
This is a one-time payment for a single workshop date — not a membership or subscription.
BOOK THIS WORKSHOP FOR $77What Is an Invisible Contract?
An Invisible Contract is an unspoken rule that governs what you believe you must do to remain safe, accepted, respected, loved or protected.
It may tell you:
- Do not disappoint people.
- Do not make anyone uncomfortable.
- Do not appear selfish.
- Do not ask for too much money.
- Do not be more successful than the people around you.
- Do not hold your position when someone disagrees.
- Do not make a decision that other people cannot understand.
- Do not become so visible that you can be criticised.
- Do not prioritise yourself if someone else may feel hurt.
Nobody needs to say these rules aloud. You can feel them in the moment you try to disobey. Your body tightens. You begin rehearsing explanations. You doubt what you know. You imagine the conflict, criticism or rejection that may follow.
Then you return to the familiar response. You surrender. You soften. You delay. You overgive. You make yourself smaller.
The workshop is where we begin interrupting that sequence.
This Is a Practice Room
This is not another webinar where you collect information and leave with more notes. It is a live working session.
Each month, we focus on one specific Invisible Contract and the situations in which it becomes active. You will learn how the contract operates, identify the punishment you are anticipating, and practise a different response before you need to use it in real life.
The aim is not to become fearless. The aim is to remain present long enough to make a decision from Self-Authority rather than fear, guilt, conditioning or anticipated punishment.
What We Will Do During the Workshop
1. Understand the Contract
We identify the unspoken rule underneath the month's theme: what it requires from women, how it is reinforced, what punishment it teaches you to anticipate, how it appears across work, money, family, relationships and visibility, and who benefits when you continue to obey it.
2. Identify Your Personal Pattern
You apply the framework to a real situation in your own life: where the contract becomes active, what happens in your body, what you believe may happen if you disobey, what you currently do to make the discomfort disappear, and what obeying the contract is costing you.
3. Practise a Different Response
You practise holding your position when someone disagrees, responding without over-explaining, saying no without constructing a legal defence, remaining present when another person is disappointed, separating someone's reaction from actual evidence, recognising when no response is required, and making a decision without waiting for everyone else to approve.
4. Create Your Integration Practice
You leave with one Invisible Contract you can recognise more clearly, one replacement position, one response you have practised, one real situation in which you will apply it, and a simple plan for returning to Self-Authority when the discomfort appears.
How the 90 Minutes Work
Part One: Teaching and Diagnosis — We examine the month's Invisible Contract, the behaviour it produces, and the punishment women are taught to anticipate.
Part Two: Guided Personal Reflection — You identify how the contract appears in your own life and what you currently do when it becomes active.
Part Three: Practical Rehearsal — You practise holding a preference, boundary, opinion or decision while another person offers pushback.
Part Four: Live Integration — We work through selected scenarios together and identify the difference between an old protective response and a self-authoritative response.
Part Five: Your Next Practice — You choose one observable act of Self-Authority to complete after the workshop.
The Next Workshops
Each workshop is a standalone, one-time-payment session. You choose which dates are relevant to you — there is no subscription.
Wednesday 30 September 2026, 7:00 PM EST
“Stay Rooted When Someone Disagrees With You”
The Invisible Contract: “When disagreement creates discomfort, I should surrender my position so that we can agree and the discomfort will stop.”
We will practise: separating fact from opinion, recognising agreement versus surrender, hearing a counterstatement without automatically changing your view, remaining neutral when someone disagrees, allowing two different opinions to exist, and holding your position without turning the conversation into a debate.
Wednesday 28 October 2026
“Stop Over-Explaining Your Decisions”
The Invisible Contract: “If another person may disapprove of my decision, I must provide enough explanation to make them agree that I am reasonable.”
We will practise: recognising when explanation becomes a request for permission, giving a short and complete response, allowing a decision to remain closed, responding to repeated questions, tolerating another person's dissatisfaction, and refusing to prepare for a trial that has not happened.

Wednesday 18 November 2026
“Money, Goodness and the Pressure to Overgive”
The Invisible Contract: “To remain a good woman, I must be generous even when giving compromises my own security.”
We will practise: separating generosity from compulsory sacrifice, recognising guilt-based financial decisions, responding to requests for money, setting financial boundaries without proving hardship, allowing yourself to have and keep more, and choosing what generosity means for you.
Opens for booking after the September workshop

What Makes This Different?
Most personal-development work focuses on understanding why you behave in a particular way. Understanding matters. But many women can explain their patterns perfectly and still obey them when the anticipated punishment appears.
You may know that you people-please. You may know that you fear rejection. You may know that you over-explain.
The real question is: What will you do when someone is disappointed, irritated or unwilling to understand you?
The Invisible Contract Workshop focuses on that moment — the moment between recognising the old rule and deciding whether to obey it again.
About Ashanti Bentil-Dhue
Ashanti Bentil-Dhue is the creator of The Unpunishable Woman and the Invisible Contracts framework. Her work examines the unspoken rules that shape women's authority, credibility, money, relationships, visibility and independence.
Through Self-Authority, women learn how to recognise these rules, evaluate the punishment they have been taught to anticipate, and make decisions without automatically surrendering to fear, guilt or external approval.
